Life on the ocean
Life aboard the Mariflex Challenge is unique. It is simple yet comfortable, functional yet atmospheric.
The crew stands watches of four hours on and eight hours off. You quickly learn to deal with compact living quarters and appreciate the small luxuries — a warm meal from the galley, a dry bunk after a wet watch, a spectacular starry sky in the middle of the ocean.
The ship offers berths in pipe berths and quarter berths, a fully equipped galley, a navigation station with chart table, and sufficient storage for personal belongings. Water is carried on board for the entire voyage.
